Considering the ongoing impact and wide-ranging effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 52nd convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Illinois will be virtual using the Zoom platform. The makeup of the convention will be nearly the same as our in-person conventions. The dates are October 30-November 1. Registration is free, but we encourage you to donate by Zelle (firstname.lastname@example.org), PayPal by going to www.nfbofillinois.org, or mailing a check (mailing instructions are listed later in this form). You must register to be eligible to win a cash door prize. Registration is due by October 16. Those wishing to become members or renew your membership for the upcoming year in any of our chapters should pay dues during the registration process. To vote in any affiliate or student election or to vote on a resolution, you must be registered and a dues paying member of the National Federation of the Blind of Illinois.
If you are registering multiple people for the convention, you MUST fill out a separate form for each attendee. You can obtain assistance with online registration by calling Patti Chang at (773) 307-6440 or David Meyer at (708) 606-7091.
Celebrate state convention with our novel nieprn can coozie. The first 150 people to register for the 2020 state convention will receive this novelty item.
Printed in black ink on a gray background, one side of the coozie has 2020 imprinted with the 0's represented as toilet paper and a medical mask and beneath the graphic is the word, together in UEB Braille. On the opposite side is the NFBIL logo.
